Al kisah nyaa kali ini..

pastinya bout my orthopedic posting ..

walaupun posting kali ini tidak memberangsangkan..

coz i'm really2 not interested wif ortho..

dunno why..no reason..

coz mmg tak minat laa yg pasti~~

walau mcam mane pun..alhamdillah alot of thing sy belajar during diz posting..

insyaAllah..ikhlas walaupun xberapa minat..

so..for me after 6 weeks bergelumang ngan orthopedic..

it's not so bad laa actly..

for boys sesuaikan la kot.

for girls uh xsesuai..haha..unless korg mmg minat..rite?

for the 1st 2 week posting kat Hospital Taiping..

agak tidak memberangsangkan..

coz 1st day samapi jer..hujan lebat giler..

sampai2 jer umah sewa..dlm umah banjir..adeh~~

kecewa da..cam petanda xbaik..

sebaik owner umh baiki cepat..setel..

then..Mr.Mohan lak cuti 2 week..

seday..xde org nk ajar..

so self-learning laa konon..ala paham2 je laa kan..

then..continue in Hosp.Ipoh..

ok laa.. but sgt penat..

Everyday...

7.30am-- kena gi pass over

after that follow ward round lak..

then..g clinic laa til 12.30 ..

after dat afternoon tutorial lg..

pas2 study gp..

blk umah da mlm..penat..

layan internet jab..tido~~~ ZzzzZZzz

cam2 la hari2..

Wlaupun..so many thing need to be learn in 5 wk during diz posting..

i thin' i hav learned sumthin'..althou juz superficial of it..huhu

not so bad rite~~

espcially time viva exam n short case..

byk belajar tuh!!

wah!! menarik2 utk dikongsikan..ahakz

Pass over:

time kat Taiping byk gak blaja..coz HO not only present the new admission cases but Mr.Grumet always ask alot of ques that i thin' really important to us to know n find out more bout it~~..

but in ipoh..pass over juz liked too fast..HO present case bla bla bla..then bg tau management of patient..pastu daa..proceed nx case..so cam xblaja byk sgt..only thing that leh grap laa case2 penting yg admit n little bit bout d'management..ok laa~~

Ward round:

so far dapat laa observe..clerk and familiar kan diri wif all d'commom cases in ortho ward.. if we talk about orthopedic jer..mesti org ingat only deal wif bones..fractures..n yg seangkatan dgn nyer laa kan..but the real thin' is..in the ward..alot of cases wif diabetic foot ulcer laa kan..really2 sad when see patient kena amputate sume.. pastu dgn ulcer yg agak chronic sampai nampak bone, tendon sume.. macam mane laa boleh jd camni ek?? salah doctor?? salah patient sendiri?? or salah siapa?? for me..jgn salahkan sesiapa..setiap org ade tanggungjawab masing2..Patient education is very important~~..patient itself kena aware n concern bout their condition also..

so dua2 pihak2 pun kena sama2 memainkan peranan masing2 laa kan..

wah~ ckp senang laa kan..

clinic sesion wif specialist:

sempat laa join sport clinic wif Mr.Sharif yg comel..n arthroplasty clinic wif dr.Suppra yg best..

ade laa gak idea bile tgk2 case time clinic tuh..xde laa blurr sgt nanti bile da jd HO..ahakz..

but xde kesempatan nk join general clinic..coz time follow mr.Mano die bz memanjang..seday~~

Viva exam:

time ni kecut perut gak laa..the only posting yg de viva2 ni..

sebaik laa examiner Mr.Bala yg cool but horror gak sumetime..n DAto.Subra yg sempoi2 gitu..

so..i got 4 topics la for viva discussion ni..Dato.Bala asked me bout..Recurrent Shoulder dislocation --> uh serius mule2 jer da kantoi..coz xstudy pun pasal ni..seday~~ xtaw pun pasal Bankart and Hill-SAch wat so ever tu laa..wawawa..keciwa byk xtaw jawab..then siap kena demonstrate lg Apprehension test tuh!! waduh sebaik den sempat pratice wif my groupmate a day b4 exam kalau tak kantoi lg di situ~~ 2nd ques lak bout carpal tunel syndrome..sebaik ok jer laa..cover blk~~ hehe..

then Dato' Subra tanye pasal Colle's and scaphoid fracture tuh..wah siap suruh wat CMR lg tuh..

adeh ..kantoi xreti~~..coz sepanjang posting xpenah tgk CMR..haha..teruk kan..tu laa tu sebab xreti jawab exam..padan muka diri sendiri..malas sgt~~ xpe laa standard laa br undergraduate..i'm still learning..uhuk~

Written paper:

nothing much to tell coz..soklan SAQ straight to d'point laa bout osteoarthritis n complicated with septic arthritis laa..MCQ cam bese..susah..xreti jawab~

last but not least: Short case exam

my examiners: Mr. Mano (scary person maa)..Mr.Sharif ( so cute..haha)

my patient, 12 y/o, girl, wif osteochondroma..over the distal end of ulna at the posterior part

uh seriusly..1st time jumper case osteochondroma ni~~~..tu laa x pegi clinic lg..haha..

so sebaik laa previous2 gp bgtau suruh bcer bout diz thing coz mmg selalu keluar exam..

Mule2 tu budjet dapt peripheral nerve examnation ker ape..mmg hancur laa kan.. dtg2 jer kat bed patient..Mr. Mano suruh amik brief history and examine the arm ker hand ntah..

wah~~ bile muler2 tgk patient tuh.. ingat kena wat peripheral examination coz die ala2 wat cam wrist drop jer..cuak da..biler tanye history jer..die kate ade lump kat wrist..lega sket~~ examine2 jer..pas2 lump tu hard lak tuh..terus ahh budjet osteochondroma...sebaik laa..

discusion wise..byk gak laa diorg tanye..but so far alhamdulillah ok laa kot..

walaupun rase cam ntah pape jer jawab.. xkesah laa kann...

yg penting~~~

examm da abes~~~
